Unanderra

ASX listed and with a proud Australian heritage, Bisalloy has built its reputation as the nation’s only manufacturer of quenched and tempered (Q&T) steel, trusted worldwide for strength, reliability and performance in the most extreme environments.

Bisalloy continues to deliver strong operational and financial results while investing in people, plant and technology to support long term growth. With safety, productivity and reliability at the core of its operations, the business remains ambitious, future focused and committed to continuous improvement.

Optimal production at Bisalloy is enabled through disciplined planning, high quality data, robust control systems and close collaboration across engineering, maintenance and operations.

The Control Systems Engineer is the plant automation champion and ally to the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner.

You will work hands on with plant automation and control systems, diagnosing issues, improving performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. This role requires the ability to move comfortably between long-term optimisation initiatives and immediate operational priorities.

To succeed, you will bring strong experience with industrial control systems including DCS, PLC and SCADA environments, along with a solid understanding of industrial networks and automation architecture. A broad technical aptitude, practical mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines will be essential.

If contributing to the ongoing evolution of a successful Australian manufacturer through automation, reliability and engineering excellence appeals to you, we encourage you to apply.
