Community nursing delivered by the Community Gateway’s Clinical Care Team is vital. They play a crucial role in these developments, making a tangible difference in the lives of its community members. The Quality and Clinical Practice Lead manages the team, supporting the Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care services.

As the Quality & Clinical Practice Lead, you will have a wide range of responsibilities. These include leading organisation-wide continuous quality improvement initiatives, managing incidents and audits, and overseeing clinical governance to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, sector standards, and Royal Commission reforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining its high standards of care.

Reporting to the COO, you will have significant authority and autonomy to do great work, and make an impact in an environment and culture that promotes evolutionary change. Your expertise and leadership will be trusted and valued, allowing you to make a real difference.

You are a passionate and experienced professional, a qualified Registered Nurse, and an expert in quality and clinical requirements. You have an intimate understanding of the magnitude of the task and the importance of compliance for the organisation and its clients.

You embody ‘Do, Lead, Influence, and Educate’ – key attributes needed to support the organisation and collaborate with partners, external providers, local hospitals, health and medical services, relevant Government Departments and agencies, and the community.
