Operating through a federated model, Cancer Council Australia partners with member state and territory organisations to fund research, prevent cancer, and support those affected. As the national body, they provide services to members and collaborate with health professionals, government, and the public health sector to lead cancer control efforts nationwide.
As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead the Finance and Corporate Services Division. This pivotal role works closely with the CEO, Leadership Team, the Board and key stakeholders. Your commercial leadership and governance will be crucial in overseeing finance, legal, licensing, risk, property, IT, HR, and stakeholder management, including Company Secretarial duties and operationalising strategy across the organisation.
Cancer Council Australia seek an experienced COO/CFO with experience leading a diverse Corporate Services function. An impressive leader, your gravitas and commercial pedigree will be essential to navigate the complex stakeholder landscape, licensing and operating environment.
