Armour & Export Customer Service Coordinator

Build a Global Service Career with an ASX-listed Manufacturing Leader.

Package to $94K plus STI

Unanderra HQ

Listed on the ASX, Bisalloy is Australia’s only manufacturer of quenched and tempered steel and a trusted supplier of armour plate to Australian and international defence programs. The Bisalloy Armour range is used globally by defence departments and original equipment manufacturers across land and sea platforms, particularly armoured vehicles, where performance, reliability and compliance are non-negotiable.

With strong global demand and continued investment aligned to the AUKUS program, Bisalloy’s Armour and Protection segment remains a key strategic focus. To support continued growth and rising service expectations in this specialised market, Bisalloy is strengthening its Armour and Export Customer Service capability.

This role sits at the centre of a technically complex and tightly regulated product stream, acting as the key link between customers, sales, operations, logistics and compliance. You will enable customers to place and progress orders with confidence, coordinating export and domestic shipments, managing documentation and licences, and ensuring clear two-way communication throughout the order fulfilment process.

Working closely with production planning, warehousing, freight providers and overseas agents, you will manage priorities, meet deadlines and resolve issues as they arise, while maintaining strict adherence to defence export controls and commercial terms. Friendly, organised and solutions-focused, you will handle customer enquiries, quoting, order processing, proforma invoicing and credit management, providing accurate updates and building trusted long-term relationships.

This role will suit someone with experience in customer service and export logistics within a manufacturing or industrial environment, who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting where accuracy, judgement and follow-through matter. Bisalloy will provide product and systems training. What matters most is your ability to manage complexity, communicate clearly and take ownership.

If working for a successful Australian manufacturer supporting global defence and protection programs appeals to you, we encourage you to submit an expression of interest.
