HSEQ Manager

Think beyond. Shape the future.

Lead, Coach and Build Capacity

Six Figure Package + Car + STI | Port Kembla + Padstow

The future of industry is sustainability. The future of sustainability is a responsibility of industry.

The world needs engineering to build tomorrow. It requires the metals, concrete and castings essential to modern life.

Vesuvius, the global leader in molten metal flow engineering, helps customers make industrial processes more efficient, safe and sustainable. They think beyond today to create solutions that will shape the future for everyone.

Their core business is helping customers improve their operational performance. Your remit is identical. Improve HSE performance and outcomes through the application of standards, continuous improvement, expertise and education.

Vesuvius now seeks an accomplished professional to manage the HSEQ program, which pursues World Class global standards across their facilities in Port Kembla and Padstow.

As part of the ANZ leadership group, this role combines strategy and operations, focusing on developing a culture that promotes Safety, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainable Business Performance. Highly visible, you will spend considerable time on the shop floor, developing an in-depth understanding of the people, the work, and the operational landscape. You will apply your knowledge of ISO, DG and Environment, as you champion HSEQ and lead, coach and build capacity in individuals and teams.

The role is full-time and Port Kembla-based, with regular travel to Padstow (2 days per week), as well as occasional travel interstate and to New Zealand. You will be joining a global business with the feel of a tight-knit local team where you are backed, trusted and valued.

If you are energised by evolutionary change and thrive on improving the performance of people and process in a volume-manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.
